NFC card Operation
This tool helps users manage their NFC cards:
Show Private Key: Displays the private key of the NFC card.
Copy NFC KeyCard: Saves the card information so it can be transferred to another card.
Erase NFC KeyCard: Deletes all data on the NFC card, including the key.
Activate NFC Reader: Reads the NFC tag.
Please note that all operations with the NFC KeyCard require scanning the NFC card for verification. Therefore, make sure the NFC feature on your phone is enabled.
Show "Private Key"
To view your private key:
Go to your wallet settings (tap the square icon in the bottom right corner).
Select "View private key."
Carefully read the warning and ensure no one else can see your private key.
Choose "I understand" to continue.
You will then see all the private keys stored on your device.
Create a Backup file
To ensure the security of your account, we highly recommend backing up your account. The process is straightforward:
Go to the options menu.
If you haven't backed up your files, you’ll see the Create Backup File option highlighted with a red border. Click on it.
You’ll need to set up a password. This password will be required to restore your account from the backup file, so remember it or store it securely.
Click Create to continue.
Choose a folder to save the backup file.
Save the file to complete the process.
You have successfully created a backup file for your account.
Restore the account with a backup file
To restore the account using a backup file, follow this instruction:
Go to the "Option" section, choose "Restore using the backup file"
Choose a backup file from your device.
Type your password attached to the account.
Hit "Restore".
You successfully restore your account.
Set up security measures
KEYRING PRO Wallet offers users two security measures, which serve as the final step to verify that the person acting is the device owner.
Passcode: Verification through a 4-digit passcode.
Fingerprint: Verification via fingerprint. Please note that this feature requires a phone with fingerprint recognition support and that the user has already registered their fingerprint in the system. Additionally, the passcode must be activated before enabling fingerprint recognition.
To activate these security measures, follow these steps:
Go to the options menu.
Select Security. Note: If you haven’t backed up your files, the system will prompt you to do so before proceeding with security settings.
Toggle Turn Passcode to On.
Set up your 4-digit passcode.
Confirm your passcode.
Once the passcode is activated, you'll see the Turn Fingerprint option. If you have already set up fingerprint recognition on your phone, simply enable it.
You can change your passcode anytime using the Change Passcode option.
Reset your wallet
Resetting your wallet will delete all data related to addresses on the KEYRING PRO Wallet.
The assets in those wallet addresses will remain unchanged, but you will not be able to access them unless you have a backup file to restore, or you import the correct address that holds those assets.
Therefore, remember to back up your file so you can restore your wallet if needed.
